Companies and recruiters are in danger of losing their ideal candidates and damaging their reputation by not having a mobile recruitment strategy, according to Mike Taylor from Web Based Recruitment, organisers of Europes Mobile & Video in Recruitment Conference.
Taylor has just returned from attending North Americas first conference dedicated to mobile recruiting where he gained an insight into how mobile is being utilised by companies in the US and Canada compared to the UK and Europe.
I feel that the US and Canada are at a similar stage to the UK and Europe where you have a handful of companies who truly understand the reasons why mobile should be an essential part of a recruitment strategy and the benefits that mobile offers. However, this means that the majority of companies dont appreciate yet just how much mobile is going to affect them in the coming months and years.
